Kinda bummed that this is the final episode of Berserk's Memorial Edition. I wish they had kept the series going.
I HIGHLY recommend those who have never read manga to do so. You won't be disappointed because the pace and artwork are both excellent.

I recommend watching either the old series or the movies. This re-edit is like the worst of both worlds.

just plain wrong, this covers more and is more accurate to the manga, and looks good, ppl complain about cgi but really there are only maybe 2 or 3 scenes in this whole thing that look bad, nothing like 2017 which was pretty rough

They also noted that the series is continuing and would be finished and was taken over by his friend. They said they felt it was in a bad place and that this was for the best and would've been finished. Here is the statement on it from then.

They won't be able to continue where the 2017 adaptation left off because of the arcs and characters that weren't implemented such as the moon child or the Lost Children arc. I genuinely don't mind them restarting.

chances of the lost children arc being animated are slim to none, despite being an adult comic, because y'know, there are alot of EDP445s out there...

They're at least going to end up continuing and finishing the series this time. It was taken over by the creators friend and states they felt it didn't do it justice to leave it where it was.

their twitter has a big countdown since this series memorial edition started, im assuming its to start from this point, possibly just redoing the 200 or so chaps covered in 2017

hmm i checked the countdown site, its ended now and i guess it was just to announce the end of this show and all their blue ray releases and some real life beserk events, idk that might mean something comes out of it if they are pushing beserk so hard

watching the rape scene again made me realise how much i despise Griffith.
in his godly form he chose to rape Casca in front of guts to maximise his suffering and also to show him how powerfull he is now..
even tho he was an almost god he was weak that he chose to taint the unborn child Casca was carrying with his demonic seed so he can use the infant's body to materialise.
i would love to see the serie going with good animation.

I don't know about that. you maybe right; but there was a Reddit post (I couldn't find it just now as I looked) that had claimed a translated interview with Kentaro sensei in which he had said that he wasn't going for an out right "rape" scene there. I believe what was going through Casca's mind at that moment either was changed or completely removed.

Knew there was always a reason why I disliked Griffith, thanks for proving me right that it wasn't unwarranted. Just look at what he did to my best girl Casca. The way she asked Guts not to look at her was heart wrenching because at that point her heart was in tatters; she just couldn't fathom the betrayal by someone she loved and trusted whole heartedly. Undoubtedly she was flummoxed. Casca was probably elated that she didn't give herself to Griffith willingly before then and that she chose a guy who saw her for who she was and cherished her, and in that moment she didn't regret that she loved Guts with all she had. But just imaging the irony of saving her from being raped when she was younger only to rape her when she got older? Let no one accuse Griffith of being a lollicon and/or a pedo I guess.
